60 Years of Trust, Led by the House of Wittelsbach
What began as a small aid association, founded by Duke Albrecht and Duchess Marita, became the Hilfsverein Nymphenburg Foundation in 2013 on the initiative of Duke Franz. The original association continues to exist as a supporting organization, while the active project work has since been led by Prince Ludwig. We continue to support communities with a network of dedicated experts, volunteers, and donors — across Europe and Africa.

Our History
Since 1964, the Hilfsverein has been shaped by the commitment of the Wittelsbacher family, their friends and supporters. Under the directorship From Duke Franz to Prince Ludwig, and now Karl-Ludwig von Poschinger, leadership has always.

Our Visions
Since its founding in 1964 by Duke Albrecht and Duchess Marita, the Hilfsverein Nymphenburg Foundation has envisioned a world where people in need receive timely, dignified, and effective support. Guided by the values of compassion, solidarity, and responsibility, we aim to empower communities, foster self-sufficiency, and create sustainable solutions that improve lives across Europe and Africa.

Our mission is to provide targeted humanitarian aid through a combination of direct support and collaboration with local partners.
